보어 자리에 올 수 있는 것 :

형용사, 명사(구), 대명사, 동명사, to 부정사, 명사절

 

형용사 : The assistant’s idea sounds interesting.

형용사 : Penny found her vase broken.

형용사 : Mr. Jones’s suit looked neat

명사(구) : Jeff is an expert in physics.

명사(구) : The city council elected Mr. Evans mayor.

명사(구) : The seminar was a presentation on economics.

대명사 : The little boy in that old picture is me.

동명사 : My concern is writing the report on time.

to 부정사 : Rebecca’s goal is to improve her grades.

명사절 : The problem was that Mr. Hobbs lost his key.

 

* 2형식 동사 (S+V+C)

1) be 동사 

2) become 동사 : go bad, come true, get high, run short

3) 상태 유지 동사 : remain, keep, stay

4) 감각 동사 : look, smell, feel, taste, sound
